Barrett Has Not Even "Lawyered-Up" Yet...
In the Federal Court System a defendant is given 21 full days to properly Respond to a lawsuit. Let's assume, for the moment, that since Stephen Barrett was sued by Doctor's Data on June 18th, 2010, that he was served with papers on the 19th, the next day. Counting 21 days from that moment brings us to Monday, July 12th, 2010 - the deadline for Barrett to hire an attorney who can practice in Federal Court in Chicago, Illinois, and prepare, and submit a Response to the Court. That's eight days from now - and Barrett does not even have an attorney yet. [full story] |

Will the San Diego Federal Judge Put Stephen Barrett in Jail?
Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen Oh my, the "Barrett Settlement" story, in San Diego, is getting even better. It seems that now the Federal judge in the case has assigned a Federal Magistrate Judge, Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo "to retain jurisdiction for settlement purposes." Wow - this could could get interesting. VERY interesting. I'll explain. [full story] |

Do not, for even a second, think that the US
The Six Components of the 2008 Quackbuster Operation... Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen Friday, February 22nd, 2008 Do not, for even a second, think that the US "Quackbuster" operation, a plot to stop anyone, and everyone, from changing the broken US health care system, is run, or even maintained, by delicensed MD Stephen Barrett out of his 2421 West Greenleaf Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania address, or his condo at 287 Stoneview, Pittsboro, North Carolina. It would be foolish to assume that this bitter, nasty, old man, who stumbles through life, tripping from one professional [full story] |

I've discovered another quackbuster scam - one to destroy a whole group of US Dentists, the head of a major Dental School, a device manufacturer, and a major emerging dental issue ...
Quackbuster Attack on NICO Flops... Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 I've discovered another quackbuster scam - one to destroy a whole group of US Dentists, the head of a major Dental School, a device manufacturer, and a major emerging dental issue - NICO, and, with some very good help, I've begun the process of breaking up the scam. I've helped engineer the destruction of about half of the scam already, and the rest is in the works. We should be finished after a court trial, I'll tell you about shortly, in April. With luck, we'll get the Los Angeles [full story] |

To perpetuate a lie...That is that toxins and toxiods cure disease, is clearly is the reason that
Further to Opinion of the Quackwatch site here is more that demonstrates that "attacking, belittling, satirizing, castigating, vilifying, maligning" is the science of the rich and corrupt! To perpetuate a lie...That is that toxins and toxiods cure disease, is clearly is the reason that "Drug makers spend more on marketing than research: study" like $57 billion +. With figures like that Imagine how much they rack in profits? "The authors say their figure of $57.5 billion US is likely an underestimate, citing other avenues for promotion such as ghostwriting of articles in medical journals [full story] |

Quackbusters' European connection lose in Amsterdam Court
Recent rulings in Amsterdam, Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of California are heavy blows to the Quackwatch anti-chiropractic and anti-alternative medicine organizations. After years of being labeled a"quack," and defamed and ridiculed professionally, Dr. Maria Sickesz won a great victory in Amsterdam, Holland early June 2007. The Netherlands Appeals Court ordered the "Vereniging tegen de Kwalzalverij" (Association Against Quackery, which is the Dutch version of the so- called "Quackbusters" ) to cease and desist from using the demeaning, subjective and pejorative term "quack." Re: Vitamin C declared most pathetic vitamin. Comment: Pathetic research from pathetic researchers. I am reminded of the the first chapter of the book "The Vitamin C Connection" written by late Emmanuel Cheraskin MD, DDS, who founded and headed the Department of Oral Medicine at the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham. until his retirement. A woman was admitted several times to a Los Angeles hospital over an 18 month period with severe internal bleeding problems - at one time MD's drained as much as a gallon of blood from her abdomen. She was ultimately found to be [full story] |
