Job Title:                                 Law Clerk

 

Full Time:                                40 hours per week [5 – 8 hours less ½ hour shift] plus benefits

                                               

NOTE:  MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS, five day shifts Monday through Saturday

 

Pay - Hourly                            $14.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on education, capability, and experience

 

Experience 

                                                Must be proficient with Microsoft Office skills i.e.

                                                MS Excel, MS Word, Publisher, Power Point, etc. 

 

 

Must have excellent typing skills:  min 50/min                                  

Requires knowledge/experience in:

 

Web based Internet research, website posting and data entry

                                                General Office procedures: 

                                                Reception, filing, facsimile, photocopying

 

Education:                               Must have Post-Secondary education and / or

experience in related fields – law, real estate, internet, writing, computers, etc. including a diploma as a law clerk or equivalent

 

Assets:                                                                                                                                   Training and / or knowledge with experience in:

                                                -    Legal processes in case preparation

      in real estate fields, tribunals and courts

-     Computerized Bookkeeping (Simply Accounting)

-          Telemarketing and non-profit administration

-          Website design and programming language capability

-          Rights and / or political advocacy

 

Details:                                    Looking for a reliable, bright, enthusiastic, mature,

individual with excellent computer skills, proficient in office procedures with knowledge of legal processes, procedures and the skills to originate various office documentation.   The individual should have experience using the Internet for research and be familiar with web page design / uploads, etc
